Job Role
- To develop and implement effective and winning marketing and sales strategies that will impact on the bottom line.
- To be responsible for taking new and existing products from launch to profitability (meeting specified sales target).
Functions & Responsibilities, Key Performance Indicators
- Responsible for both financial and volume achievement for the business.
- Contributing to sales information and recommendations towards strategic plans and reviews.
- Ensure that monthly targets are met and drive the team.
- Conduct customer/market research to determine market requirements for existing and future products.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies for new and existing products to meet customer needs.
- Advises Management on product performance, product development, pricing and other recommendations arising from market information.
- Control expenses to optimize cost and meet budget and business performance goals. Develop sales pitches to corporate customers including presentations, conferences, exhibitions, road shows in line with company’s product lines.
- Maintain accurate records of sales and provide accurate and timely reports to management on business performance.
- Customer satisfaction and feedback
- Quality of sales reports to the Managing Director which is adapted for management meetings for decision making.
- Speed of response to RFPs and RFQs Number of repeat business and business referrals % Profit generated from cost savings from sales and executed projects
- Overall level of professionalism displayed to peers, subordinate and customers
- 100% Return on Investment

Academic Qualification
- First degree, with a Marketing related professional qualification. MBA will be an added advantage.
- The ideal candidate MUST have relevant sector sales experience.
- Must not be older than 45 years of age as at time of application
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience, at least 5 of which must be at managerial level.
The ideal candidate MUST have:
- Relevant sales experience in the IT sector Ideal/successful candidate must have a sales track record that is easily referenced
- Must have experience in proposal and sales presentation pitches.
- Must have a good knowledge of economic and market intelligence.
